“Love” is a political stance
At Calvin College, a new organization, Students for Life, recently formed. An anti-choice group with an aim to being “loving” and “non-political,” their first big event happening today is standing outside an abortion clinic with a “non-confrontational time of prayer.” Despite their attempts to separate themselves from the more rabid, vicious pro-lifers, they are still a group taking a political stance. No matter how much they deny it, their organization works with a political stance that guides their actions. The difference is that when outside an abortion clinic, they’re just silently judging people instead of actively harassing them.
It is raining all day today. I’d like to think God is raining on their parade.
An op-ed piece on being pro-life, with a plethora of hatful comments from Pro-Lifers.
Students for Life eliding any kind of political stance here.
